Terms of use25 October 2026

Read, quote, link. Nothing here is advice.

These terms cover the use of whaleradar.com, its pictures and data. They are short because the site is free and descriptive. By using the site you accept them.

What WhaleRadar is

WhaleRadar describes where the largest wallets on Hyperliquid are positioned, computed from the Hyperliquid blockchain. It says where money sits and where it would be forced out. It never says what you should do. Nothing on the site, in a picture, a feed, an alert or a bot message is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, an offer, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Not financial advice.

No warranty

The data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Labels, names, scores and the plain-language summaries are estimates and interpretations, made by rules we publish in the methodology. The site may be unavailable or change at any time. We provide it as it is, without a warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability, and we are not liable for decisions made on it. Trading with leverage can lose more than you put in. Where the law does not allow a limitation of liability, it does not apply.

Citing and linking

Quoting and linking is welcome and needs no permission. Quote a figure with the time shown next to it and a link to the page, as in “Whale Tide, all markets: 24 (strongly short), 23 Oct 2026, 19:45 UTC. Source: WhaleRadar, whaleradar.com/tide”. The press page has more examples. The Whale Tide, its history and its words are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence: use them anywhere, including commercially, with the credit "Whale Tide by WhaleRadar" and a link to whaleradar.com/tide. Every other picture, chart, figure and sentence on the site may be reproduced free of charge in articles, posts, newsletters, videos and broadcasts, with a visible credit "Source: WhaleRadar" and a link where the medium allows one. The pictures from the media studio carry that credit already. A credit does not imply that WhaleRadar endorses the publication or its conclusions.

What is not allowed

  • Removing or hiding the source line or the time from a picture or a quote, or the "Not financial advice" note from a picture.
  • Presenting WhaleRadar, the Whale Tide or any alert as a trading signal, a recommendation or a prediction.
  • Reselling the data as a feed, a dataset or an API, or offering a product whose main value is our data, without a Desk Team licence.
  • Bulk scraping of pages, or other requests that strain the service.
  • Using the site's name, mark or design to suggest a connection with WhaleRadar that does not exist.

Public JSON

The public JSON (positions, the Tide, whales, moves 15 minutes late), the widget and the share images are free for personal and editorial use with the credit above, as long as the requests do not strain the service. The full API with live moves, snapshots, pods and the Tide’s history comes with Desk once it opens, and a licence to publish our data inside a product with Desk Team. We may change or retire a free endpoint, and we announce it on the press page first where we can.

Wallets and names

The site shows public wallet addresses and their public positions on the Hyperliquid blockchain. Whale names are given by WhaleRadar and never name a person. A name belongs to one wallet for at least a year, and an earlier holder is shown with its year, as in “Clear Gale ’26”. We make no claim about who is behind a wallet, whether a wallet belongs to a named person or company, or why a position was taken. Pods group wallets by their public transfers and are an estimate.

Corrections

A number that was wrong is corrected in place with a note and its time. Daily reports stay as archived, with the correction added beneath them. Report an error to contactwhaleradar.com with the page and the time shown next to the figure.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. A change that matters to readers is announced on the press page before it applies. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Pro and Desk

The paid plans open to the waitlist first. Their terms, including billing, cancellation, refunds and fair use, are added to this page before the first subscription is sold. Until then nothing on WhaleRadar is sold, and every page is free to read.
