Can you make money on Hyperliquid?
How many of the largest wallets on Hyperliquid made money over 30 and 90 days, how many lost, the median and how many were liquidated.
Good for: a story about a whale that made millions, read beside how the other whales did.
Say a post shows a whale that made $40M on Hyperliquid in a week. It travels because it is rare. What happened to the other large wallets over the same weeks? WhaleRadar sums each tracked wallet’s closed positions and counts how many ended up and how many ended down.
How the whales did
Of the 561 tracked whales that closed a position of $100K or more in the 30 days to 3 Nov 2026, 299 ended in profit and 259 at a loss, summed before fees and funding. The median result was +$2K.
Of the 699 tracked whales that closed a position of $100K or more in the 90 days to 3 Nov 2026, 387 ended in profit and 310 at a loss, summed before fees and funding. The median result was +$7K.
86 of those 699 whales, 12%, had at least one position liquidated in the 90 days. Counted by position instead of by wallet, 52% of the 9,082 whale positions closed in the 30 days ended in profit.
How it is counted
Each tracked wallet counts once: the realised results of every position of $100K or more it closed in the window, added up. Realised means closed, not open, and before fees and funding. A wallet with one large loss and ten small gains can end at a loss.
What it won’t show
These are the largest wallets on Hyperliquid and the most active smaller ones, not every trader. Wallets that lost and stopped trading leave the list over time, so the share in profit can read high. It won’t show a loss still open in a position, fees and funding, or what a wallet holds on another exchange. And how others did says nothing certain about the next trade, yours included.
